Beginner Pantograph
Begin your rental on Sewlarium's longarm, Bernard, with an hour of 1-on-1 instruction to get you started using the laser pantograph system to create an edge-to-edge (E2E) pattern over your quilt. Class starts at 10am, an hour before the store opens. Anticipate approximately 4 hours of total time to complete your quilting. Our long-arm is hand-guided, not computerized.
Student should bring:
-An ironed quilt top
-Batting
-Ironed quilt backing fabric
DO NOT baste your layers together!
Materials:
-First Time Students must select Class + Materials!
Notes:
A twin-sized, lap or baby quilt is preferrable for your first time.
Prevent wavy borders by followig these instructions
Batting can be purchased day-of from Sewlarium.
Cut your backing (at least) 6" bigger than your top on all sides.
DO NOT try to use a cheap fabric for your backing! (It causes thread breaks.)
