Shipping

How much does shipping cost?

Our website tries to estimate the mailer that your order will require based on weight. 3 yards of 44" quilting cotton ships for $8. 9 yards ships for $9. 25 yard ships for $14. And 34 yards will ship for 20$.

Sewlarium will review the shipping charge on your order before the payment is processed to make sure it has estimated correctly. Small items will still ship in our $8 mailer.

It's always free to pick up at our store!

Can I pick up my order?

Choose in-store pickup at check-out and we'll let you know when your order is ready!

Where do you ship?

Sewlarium ships anywhere within the US, but we are unable to ship to APO, FPO or DPO addresses.

Do you have....

What type of fabric do you carry?

Sewlarium primarily focuses on lightweight (quilting) cottons and Shannon minky/cuddle. Canvas and linen will also be mainstays of the store. We're working hard on curating a small, exciting garment section that will hopefully expand as time goes on.

Thread

Aurifil 50wt in neutrals and Mettler Polyester Seracor thread are in stock! We also have Gutermann 50wt all-purpose, jeans, extra heavy, and top stitch.

Ribbon

We carry Moda satin ribbons.

Zippers

Currently, Sewlarium stocks #5 continuous nylon coil zipper (and pulls) commonly used for purses and bags. We also have a small selection of sperating zippers and invisible zippers.

Needles

Yes!

Other Notions?

Sewlarium carries most common notions for measuring, marking, cutting and basting fabric. Admittedly, we didn't think of everything and welcome input.

Visiting the Store

Where are you Located?

Sewlarium is located at 3236 N. Lombard St. in Portland Oregon.

We're Located on N. Lombard st. between N. Oatman Ave. and N. Emerald Ave. across from Mike's drive-in. We share a building with EyeHealth Northwest, A1 Braids, and Tuk Tuk Restaurant

Is there parking?

Yes! There is parking (including handicapped) around the corner from Eyehealth Northwest for customers of Sewlarium.

There's a second lot up the alley between Tuk Tuk and Chameleon Salon that's only accessible if you are traveling East on Lombard.

Can I bus there?

The closest bus stop is N Lombard & Peninsular. It's serviced by Bus 35 and 75.

The N Willamette & Bryant stop is serviced by Bus 44 and is about a 10-minute walk away.

When are you open?

Sewlarium is open daily from 11am to 6pm, but is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For holiday and weather closures, please check out our instagram or our facebook

Can my dog come?

Leashed and arguably well-behaved dogs are always welcome in Sewlarium!
